All Adult, Teen, Preteen and Family Clay classes follow an 8 week schedule.
Cost per 8 week adult class session is $315.00 unless otherwise noted.
Adult clay class fees include 25 lbs. of clay, glaze materials, and open
classroom time.*
Beginning Wheel Throwing
An introduction to basic throwing techniques: centering clay, forming cylinders, bowls and plate forms. Glazing and surface treatment also covered.

Intermediate / Advanced Wheel
For those who are comfortable throwing basic cylinder and bowl shapes.This class will focus
on constructing more complex forms such as teapots, pitchers, covered jars and casseroles. Students also work on mastering the more technical aspects of glazing and firing.

Hand Building: Textured Slab Constructions
6 Week Class
This class will introduce the student to the construction of a variety of functional shapes (such as; plates, bowls, serving dishes, vases, butter dish cups etc) through the use of textured slabs. Personalize your pieces with exciting surfaces created from custom texture sheets and tiles, which you will learn to make during the class. No experience required.
$250 plus a $20 materials fee at La Grange only.
