Class times are for both Oak Park and LaGrange locations, unless otherwise indicated.

Pre-Teen Wheel
NEW LONGER CLASS SESSIONS!

8 weeks

This class provides an introduction to wheel throwing. The focus will be on basic cylinder and bowl forms. Techniques for surface embellishment with texture and slips also covered. $200

Teen Wheel
12-16 yrs.
8 weeks
This class is for the student who, at this age, is physically ready for the challenges of the potter’s wheel. Basic to advanced throwing techniques will be covered, as well as an introduction to glazes and firing.
Tool packs are available for purchase. $200

Metals/Jewelry Class for Teens (Teens 12 & up)
Teen Jewelry
and Silversmithing
12-16 yrs. 8 weeks
Students will create their own designs out of brass, copper and silver. A variety of skills, such as the sawing, hammering, texturing, stamping, soldering, stone setting and polishing of metals will be taught during these project based classes. Cost of Copper and Brass included. Silver is available at an additional cost.$200

A 50% deposit is required to reserve class or workshop space. The balance must be paid by the first class or the time of the workshop. Refunds and cancellations: If you must cancel a class or workshop, every effort will be made to fill your space. If we can fill the space, we will return your registration, less a $30 processing fee. No refunds will be made for any cancellations made less than 2 weeks prior to the class or workshop. *If, for any reason, the staff or management of TERRA INCOGNITO must reschedule a class, every attempt will be made to schedule make-up classes, at the convenience of the majority of the students. Classes missed as a result of scheduling conflicts or absences of the student, for any reason, are not the responsibility of TERRA INCOGNITO. In most cases, missed classes can be made up during another scheduled class of the same session.
